The Transcarpathian Sanatorium "Thermal-Star" offers its patients underwater vertical vertebral traction (skeletal traction). This procedure is very effective for spinal diseases, but has its own clear indications, contraindications, and modes of application. Skeletal extraction is performed only if there are results of a spinal examination (MRT or CT) performed within the last year.
Underwater extraction is carried out in a pool with natural thermal mineral water of the sanatorium "Thermal Star" at a temperature of 34 - 36 ° C. The procedure, during which the patient is influenced by the temperature factor, the chemical composition of mineral thermal water and the peculiarities of the mechanism of action of special equipment. The procedure is carried out by appointment of a doctor in an individual mode under the supervision of medical personnel. After the procedure, it is mandatory to rest in a horizontal position for 10-15 minutes. On the day of the procedure, long walks and travel by vehicles are not recommended
